Description:
An intentionally grounded keelboat is a replica of the same one that Lewis and Clark would have used to carry them part of the way through the frontier on the Missouri River. There are some interesting sculptures in the park too, most notably, the thunderbird which was a Native American mythological creature said to create thunder and lightning. Keelboat Park is within camera range of a railroad bridge that crosses the river. Lots of photo opportunities abound here!
