Maltese Cross Cabin

Teddy Roosevelt may have been born in Manhattan but he was a frontier man at heart. He spent much of his time in the Northern territory and in particular North Dakota. Maltese Cross Cabin was his first living space in the Dakota Territory from 1883 to 1884. The cabin today has been restored and contains many items used by the 26th U.S. President as well as other artifacts and furniture in common use during the late 1800s. (Photo by Kaitlyn L)
