Description:
This is the second oldest zoo in the U.S., opened in 1875. As early as 1880 the Cincinnati Zoo participated in breeding programs to save endangered species. Now this AZA-accredited park operates on 75 acres of land and is home to almost 2,000 animals representing over 500 species.
