Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Founded in 1882 this animal park remains one of the most popular attractions in Ohio. This large zoo encompasses 183 acres on which a large population of over 3,000 animals lives. More than 600 species live in simulated habitats. The exhibits include the African Savanna, Monkey Crossing, African Elephant Crossing, Wallaby Walkabout, and Wolf Wilderness. The zoo participates in breeding programs and is currently expecting a baby rhino in 2017.
