Columbus Zoo and Aquarium

This AZA-accredited zoo has plenty of room for their animal residents. On 580 acres more than 7,000 animals representing over 800 species live. It has been consistently ranked as the best zoo in America by different sources. The conservation efforts include giving medical care and rehabilitating manatees and breeding the extinct Mexican wolf. So far 29 wolf pups have been born at the zoo. Mexican wolves only live in captivity now to prevent complete eradication.
