Description:

Painted a bright, cheerful red, this bridge was once one of 2,000 covered bridges in Ohio. Now, over a hundred years later, it is the only one of its kind in Summit County. This seemingly idyllic setting holds some mystery - rumor has it that is haunted by the spirit of Farmer John Gilson who drowned in the water when attempting to lead his horse across the stream. No one knows if this tragedy is what led to the bridge's construction but it makes for a compelling story!
