Description:

Historic Buxton Inn in Granville, Ohio was founded in 1812 by Orrin Granger and began as a simple tavern and stagecoach stop between Columbus and Newark. Over the years it served as a community hub, post office, and lodging house while maintaining its reputation as one of Ohio’s oldest continuously operating inns. The property grew to include multiple preserved buildings that retain early nineteenth century charm. Popular dishes from its restaurant have included filet mignon, Chicken Victoria, fresh seafood, and seasonal pastas that reflect a traditional American menu.
