Description:

Richland Carrousel Park in Mansfield, Ohio, is a beloved downtown attraction featuring a hand-carved wooden carousel that opened in 1991—the first of its kind built in the U.S. since the 1930s. Created by Carousel Works in the style of classic carver G.A. Dentzel, it includes 52 whimsical figures, from horses to exotic animals like giraffes and hippocampi. The indoor, year-round park helped spark economic revitalization in the surrounding "Carousel District" and includes a gift shop with carousel-themed and locally made items, making it a nostalgic and community-centered destination for all ages.
