This museum houses one of the largest collections of bicycles in the world. The models go back to the early 1800s with the elegantly curved Draissine. The 1870s saw the introduction of the asymmetrical large-front-wheel bicycles better known as penny-farthings. In the era of going green the bicycle with its small carbon footprint has become relevant again.
