America's Most Toxic Town

America's Most Toxic Town doesn't stop tourists from wanting to explore its depths; in fact the name seems to draw people from all corners of America. The height of this town was in the early 20th century when the "mining belt" produced lead and zinc here. Unearthing these raw metals was like unearthing a Pandora's box of pollutants - the mining released waste of poisonous materials. Now a desolate place fit for a dystopian movie or novel, this town's winds produce clouds of harmful dust laden with heavy metals. For this outing a hazmat suit is recommended - yikes!
