Giant Milk Bottle

A giant milk bottle tops a tiny market building. Established in 1930, the little grocer needed a little oomph to make it visible to prospective customers. Thus in 1948 the massive dairy decanter was hoisted on top drawing people to the humble shop. Over the decades the shop has worn many hats - as a dry cleaner, produce stand, realtor's office, and most recently as a Vietnamese restaurant. Even with its middle-of-the-street location and its jumbo rooftop doodad the businesses haven't lasted too long here.
