Golden Driller Statue

At 75feet tall, weighing over 40,000 pounds, and wearing an enormous belt with "TULSA" printed in block letters across the buckle, the Golden Driller is the epitome of masculinity in a very macho profession. Once the Oil Capital of the World, Tulsa acquired this large laborer from a Texas oilfield supply company. Although Tulsa may not be the Oil Capital of the World any longer it is still the home of the tallest unattached statue in the U.S.
