Holy City of the Wichitas

The charmingly rustic ruins look ancient, but have only been here for almost a century. In 1926, the first Passion play was staged and since then is performed every year on Easter. You don't have to wait for Easter to roll around to see the grounds; they're open Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM. Other sights to see are the memorial for victims of the Oklahoma City bombing and the World Chapel. Visiting is free but donations are appreciated.
