Description:

Standing 35 feet tall, Kicks 66 is a striking roadside landmark in Oklahoma City created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of historic Route 66. Designed by Oklahoma artist Cameron Eagle, the illuminated red cowboy boot sculpture features the phrase “Oklahoma City Looks Mighty Pretty,” a nod to the classic Route 66 song and the city's place along the Mother Road. Located near the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Kicks 66 serves as a colorful photo stop that blends Oklahoma's Western heritage with the enduring spirit of America's most famous highway.
