Sited on the Oklahoma Panhandle State University, this gem is a humble collection of images and artifacts that preserve the heritage of the region well before the 1900s. A two-headed calf, vintage farming tools, old tax documents - much of the museum is focused on the agricultural history giving visitors a taste of the difficult, hard-won existence that the dwellers of the Panhandle lived. If you walk away with anything at all, it will be a sense of gratitude that the people who lived in these arduous times paved the way to a better standard of living for future generations.
