Description:
The Route 66 Ribbon Road, also known as the Sidewalk Highway, is a historic section of the original Route 66 located near Miami, Oklahoma. Constructed in the 1920s, this 9-foot-wide stretch of road is one of the narrowest segments of the iconic highway, giving it its "Ribbon Road" nickname. It is a rare surviving example of early highway engineering and serves as a nostalgic reminder of the early days of automobile travel along Route 66.
