The "Peace Candle of the World" stands tall and erect in Scappoose, OR. Located almost smack in the middle of your road trip from Cali to Washington, you only have to make a slight detour. Jump off the 5, head north on the 30 instead. The towering crimson candle was the beacon of the Brock Candles Factory, which ironically burned down in 1990.
