Description:
The steel truss cantilever bridge opened in 1926 crosses the Columbia River. It's a toll bridge that connects SR-14 in Washington to I-84 in Oregon. The name comes from a natural dam that was created by the Bonneville Slide of 1450 - a major landslide that altered the Oregon landscape substantially. The tolls can be paid with cash or credit and costs about $2 to $5 for most passenger vehicles. (Submitted by Leah Gomez)
