Cant Ranch

Make the most of your summer and plan a trip to Cant Ranch. Due to short staffing the ranch is closed the other three seasons. Purchased by Scottish immigrants James and Elizabeth Cant in 1910, the ranch was cultivated by the entire family with their own hands. Under their ownership the ranch thrived with a vegetable garden and fruit orchards and a variety of livestock. The buildings were constructed over several years. The National Park Service bought the ranch from the Cant family in 1975. There are no admission fees or permits needed for a regular day visit.
