Description:

The original Howe Truss structure was built in 1914, but had to be dismantled in 1997 due to rot and insect damage. It had spanned Drift Creek and carried Drift Creek County Road overhead. The local Sweitz family, as an act of philanthropy, rebuilt the bridge over Bear Creek which is the tributary of the Salmon River.
