Description:
Huber's Cafe opened in 1879 as a downtown saloon and later took the name Huber's after owner Frank Huber. The restaurant became famous under longtime cook Jim Louie, who established its tradition of serving roast turkey dinners and sandwiches. Now located in the historic Oregon Pioneer Building, it remains known for its classic turkey dishes along with specialties like turkey marsala and turkey cordon bleu. Guests also come for its signature Spanish Coffee, a tableside flaming drink that has become a Portland favorite.
