Description:

Long before it was a museum, this wooden clapboard building was a general store for the Chinese immigrants who came to America seeking a better life. Built in the late 1800s, this served as an herbal medicine clinic and trading post. It has preserved many of the goods and materials from this time period as well as from later decades as Chinese immigrants continued to arrive. All tours are guided and free tickets are obtained at the Interpretive Center. The tours run from May to October, 9 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 5 PM.
