Description:
This spring-fed lake is a scenic spot located in Mt. Hood National Park. The glassy water of the lake reflects the sky above perfectly. The crater itself was probably formed from a collapsed lava tube. As it's only 250 feet away from the trailhead you don't have to walk far or exert too much energy to view the lake. If you want more exercise, you can hike out farther along the Pacific Crest Trail and to see some other amazing bodies of water.
