Description:
Neptune Beach is divided into its north and south parts by Cummins Creek, along which a forested trail hike takes you through a 9,300-acre wilderness. To find the parking area, go to the north part. The south part has picnic tables on a grassy area from which you can watch the waves crash against the rocks. Tides come and go quite fast, but at low tide you can explore the numerous pools swimming with invertebrate sea creatures.
