Description:
Cook's Chasm has three interesting features - the spouting horn being one of them. This ocean geyser sprays water when the powerful ocean waves get caught in a deep hole. It has often been compared to the whale exhalation through its spiracle. There are two other features in this location - the Devil's Churn, a deep fissure in the ocean, and Thor's Well, a 20-foot-deep hole in the basalt rocks lining the shore.
