Short Sand Beach

A hidden gem on the Oregon Coast is a great place for swimming, playing, or watching the surfers out in the frigid Pacific waters. You might even see a few seals frolicking nearby. It's often touted as the most beautiful beach in the vicinity and is known for its spectacular sunsets. If you feel up to some exercise, don't miss the Falcon Head Trail. The parking area is on Oregon Coast Highway adjacent to Short Sand Creek Bridge. You can also park at the trailhead for Falcon Head.
