The best time to visit is at low tide when you can take the stairs down to the beach and observe the tide pools with little sea creatures waiting to be taken back out to sea. Bring a picnic lunch and take advantage of the tables in the parking area while you watch the ocean's show of tempestuous waves crashing against the rocky shore.
