Description:
The longest running American sitcom, "The Simpsons," never specified which state the title family resided in, but the city of Springfield, OR has decided to adopt the wacky fivesome. Creator Matt Groening has admitted that the Oregon city was the inspiration for his iconic series, and the real-life residents have received this news with open arms. A grand mural and hometown tour is offered to residents. If you stop by this Lane County town, make sure you also see the Ken Kesey Mural.
