The Watchman Fire Lookout

Located 8,025 feet above sea level this 1932 watchtower helped park rangers spot smoke and fires in order to prevent them from becoming large-scale disasters. The Watchman Overlook parking lot provides access to the trail which is just under a mile long. It is open from July to October.
