Built in 1916, this waterside Art Nouveau rest stop was designed for wary travelers making their way along the Columbia Gorge. The extravagant exterior is only outdone by the marble interior - even the bathrooms are marble-appointed. The impressive domed building is surrounded by extraordinary views. While you won't spend a lot of time here, taking several photos is a must if you're passing by. There is a small gift shop and cafe inside.
