Bear Creek Lake Dam

This dam opened in 1982 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Its function is for flood control, but visitors have found more recreational means to use it. Amenities at this clean park include a campground, beach, and kayaking. Several trails can be explored on foot, bike, or horseback. There are also yurts and cabins. Make sure you set aside several hours for this park - there are plenty of activities you'll want to do!
