Choke Creek Trail is a moderately trafficked loop trail located near Thornhurst, PA, featuring beautiful wildflowers. The path is primarily used for hiking, running, bird watching, and fishing and is accessible year-round. Leashed dogs are also allowed on the trail. The hike to the beautiful 20-foot-tall Choke Creek Falls in the Pinchot State Forest is an easy, less than a mile trek. The falls have a lovely plunge pool that local kids like to swim and jump into in the summer. There's even a rope swing for the adventurous. It is legal to camp at the falls and there are a few sites with fire rings.
