Description:
Braving the flow of the Susquehanna River is a small replica of the Statue of Liberty standing atop a pier that was once part of the demolished Marysville Bridge. She is actually the second statue to stand there - the first was blown away by a strong gust of wind in 1992. A bit of trivia: the first one appeared mysteriously in 1986 but the renegade artists, Gene Stilp and Ed Chubb, weren't discovered until 2011.
