Description:
A landscape with giant, smooth boulders strewn across green knolls and meadows was trod upon by thousands of soldiers during the Battle of Gettysburg in the American Civil War. This spot was formed long before the Civil War. Around 200 million years ago frost wedging fractured the land and made it what we see today. History buffs, hikers, and amateur geologists will all enjoy this haven. The park is open every day from 6 AM to 10 PM.
