Description:

Duffy’s Tavern dates back to 1819 when it opened as the Boalsburg Tavern and served as a lively stop for stagecoach travelers passing through central Pennsylvania. The limestone building was rebuilt after a 1934 fire and reopened in 1938, later becoming Duffy’s Tavern in 1946 under new ownership. Today it remains a community favorite known for its historic charm and hearty comfort food, with popular dishes such as crab bisque, gorgonzola stuffed dates, steaks, smoked pork tenderloin, pot roast, and shepherd’s pie.
