Description:

The Dutch Kitchen Restaurant in Frackville, Pennsylvania, began as a small diner when owners John and Michelle Morgan relocated a vintage Silk City diner to the site near Interstate 81 and gradually expanded it into a larger family-style restaurant. Over the years it became a popular roadside stop serving hearty Pennsylvania Dutch comfort food to travelers and locals. The restaurant is especially known for dishes like turkey pot pie with homemade noodles, ham and cabbage casserole, meatloaf, and classic desserts such as shoofly pie.
