Erie Zoo and Botanical Gardens

At the Erie Zoo you can get a close up view of 400 animals from around the world. The new Kiboka Outpost houses rhinos, cheetahs, and warthogs. You can also see wildlife from the exotic areas of Africa and Madagascar. Other activities include a train or carousel ride or take a walk through the winding walkways and beautifully landscaped grounds with more than 2,500 specimens of 600 plant species. The gardens include: the Butterfly gardens, the Greenhouse, and the great gardens at Kiboka Outpost where you'll see the roaming rhinos.
