Fireman's Hall Museum

Saves: 5
Check-ins: 8
This museum is housed in an old firehouse that dates back to 1898. However, the history of firefighting in Philadelphia goes back even further; in 1736, Ben Franklin himself founded the first volunteer fire company. On display are badges, helmets, and other equipment used by firefighters a century or more ago. One of the focal points of the museum is the large stained glass window depicting firefighters rescuing people. (Submitted by Shirley Beauchemin Thurston)
