Hermit's Cave

Used by Transylvanian-born Johannes Kelpius and his followers, this little hobbit hole is where they awaited the coming of the millennia in 1694. They were a group of mystics and indeed were preoccupied with Doomsday, Armageddon, or the End of the World. Today people would say they are wearing "tin foil hats" but in the late 1600s many of the European settlers looked to them for answers.
