Description:

This covered wooden bridge was built in 1844 at a cost of $1,787. Today, that amount would be roughly $58,000 which is still a bargain for a bridge that is in mint condition. It proves that things aren't made the way they used to be. It is one of the few double-arch covered bridges left in the U.S. but it is not open to the public as to preserve its beauty.
