First constructed in 1766 this mansion has undergone many changes over two-and-a-half centuries. The grandly ornate abode in Pennsylvania's state capital was the summer residence of Simon Cameron, a politician who was very influential during America's Civil War era. Mansion tours are available Tuesday through Friday from 1 PM to 4 PM. Admission costs $8 per adult.
