Description:
Knecht’s Covered Bridge, also known as “Slifer’s Bridge,” was built in 1873 from durable hemlock and spans the scenic Durham Creek. This 110-foot bridge is located in what was once called Slifer Valley, a fertile area where German settlers established homesteads in the early 1700s.
