Located in Schnecksville, PA, The Lehigh Valley Zoo is a 29-acre zoo situated inside the 1,100-acre Trexler Nature Preserve. The zoo is home to nearly 300 animals from otters, sloths, and snakes to turtles, bobcats, camels, kangaroos, ostriches, and new animals such as Masai giraffes and black footed penguins. The zoo is open year round. The Lehigh Valley Zoo has been accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums since March 2006.
