Description:
Lesher’s Sunflower Field in Chambersburg, PA, is a stunning 200-acre sea of golden blooms where visitors can freely wander, snap photos, and even cut a sunflower stem or two for a small donation. Open daily from dawn to dusk, the fields are family- and pet-friendly, making it a favorite late-summer outing. The best time to visit is from mid-August through mid-September, with peak bloom usually occurring around late August to early September, often right around Labor Day weekend.
