Marie Antoinette Overlook

What's the connection between a deposed queen of France and this viewpoint in America? French settlers in the late 1700s and early 1800s, many of whom were aristocrats fleeing their fatherland during their own revolution. It is rumored that Marie Antoinette herself was planning to flee to this settlement as well, although this has not been substantiated.
