Description:
Open to the public in January of 2000, this independent learning center is free to all. Dedicated to the theme of freedom and liberty it has several interactive displays and an exact replica of the Liberty Bell. The museum honors people who have been movers and shakers in advancing freedom, including Jackie Robinson, Nelson Mandela, and Jim Henson. A highlight of the museum is the 21-foot sculpture "Flame of Liberty" by artist, Dale Chihuly.
