Description:
The National Watch and Clock Museum is the only museum in the U.S. that is dedicated to the history, science, and art of timekeeping and timekeepers (known as horology.) Founded in 1977 by the NAWCC, the museum has over time (excuse the pun) assembled a huge collection of clocks, watches, and related tools and machinery. The NWCM has an ongoing temporary exhibit schedule, usually two at a time, with one devoted to general timekeeping and the other a more specialized show that would appeal primarily to collectors.
