Old Log Church & Cemetery

Saves: 5

The quaint and charming one-room log house church was built in 1806 by the Reformed and Lutheran congregations of Bedford County. Unfortunately, a child was the first burial - in 1806 while the church was being constructed. In the latter half of the century many veterans of the Confederate Army were buried here as well. While the structure has remained largely intact, a huge restoration project was undertaken in the early 2000s. (Submitted by Kazz)
