Saint Anthony's Chapel Relics

Saint Anthony's Chapel, built in 1880, is a Catholic chapel in Pittsburgh, PA that houses 4,000 to 5,000 religious relics - the largest collection of relics outside the Vatican. The relics were collected in Europe during political times of upheaval (namely, the so-called Kulturkampf in Germany and the unification of Italy). Many of the relics have original certificates of authenticity with the oldest of the relics dating back from August 12, 1716.
