Shofuso Japanese House
Built in the style of a 17th-century Japanese home, this traditional structure was a gift from Japan to America. It symbolizes a break from old hostilities and an entry into a new era of friendship between East and West. Styled in the Japanese tradition, it of course also has a tea ceremony demonstration. If you want to take part in this lovely ritual, make sure you have reservations as each sitting only accommodates 30 people - and it is quite a popular event as you can imagine.
